It’s looking like we will have a great turnout of classmates, spouses, and special guests with planned activities and plenty of time to visit, enjoy the resort, do the spa thing, golf, play tennis, shop in Lake Geneva, circle the lake on a beautiful walking path, even horseback ride. Or cruise beautiful Geneva Lake!!!
ID Badges:
Any of you who still have the SHS name badge we used for identification at the 50th Reunion should try to find it and bring it to this 55th Reunion. You have almost 8 months to find the pin. We can use the badge to help recognize each other after all these years.
Updated Classmate Bios:
Be sure to visit our website at www.SHS57.org and check out the Classmates Bios Page. These will be updated as new information is received. You are all encouraged to forward updated info, and a photo if available. Also, please let Karen know how to find any classmates whose address or e-mail may have changed since last Reunion. The response for this 55th Reunion celebration has been very positive so far. Considering that 86 classmates attended the 50th Reunion, and we are expecting some attendees who have not come before, we should have a great turnout.
Please let Karen know if we have lost any additional classmates since the 50th Reunion. All known Memorials can be found with the Classmates photo from 1957. Click on the photo and personal information will appear. To date, we have lost about 20% of the class.

SATURDAY, September 29, 2012:
1:30 PM to 3 PM - Fireside Chat with Mrs. Scharner
Saturday is your day to visit in small groups, and enjoy another Fireside Chat with Phyllis Scharner, (Miss Mak), in the afternoon. This was one of the highlights of our 50th Reunion, and she'd love to do it again. We'll have more chairs, promise! Wine, Beer and Soda, plus snacks will be available, thanks to Phyllis Scharner.

THE GRAND EVENT:

Grand Geneva Resort has two world-renowned golf courses: The Brute and The Highlands. You can call the golf course for more information and green fees. NO DENIM ON THE GOLF COURSE, PLEASE!

FITNESS:
Your reservation at the hotel entitles you to participate, at no additional cost, in activities at the Well Spa. Tour of Shorewood High School:
If you are interested in arranging a tour of Shorewood High School with a few classmates, contact Jenny Heyden, SHS Alumni President, at 414-534-6287, or e-mail the SHS Alumni Association at shorewoodalumni@gmail.com.
If you'd like to make a donation to the Shorewood High School Alumni Association (SHSAA), you can earmark a separate check made out to SHSAA as a gift from you to be added to the gifts of others to accomplis some special project. The Class of '61 recently donated $4000 which is being used to purchase display cases for the Drama building. This check can be included with your Reservation Form and mailed to me.
Several classmates from the Class of '57 sent checks to support the Drive to Distinction and replacement of the bleachers, track and field afteer the 50th Reunion. The bleachers are now complet and I think their names are engraved on their chairs. Check it out! Rich Seaman has been to the new SHS field and says it's "gorgeous" but not yet completed.
